Purpose of the role
In this role you will be responsible for Project Accounting activities in order to

Develop, monitor and control accurate Project records. Implement robust monitoring & accounting processes to ensure Project Accounting support meets the project requirements.
Consolidate and report on all accounting elements within projects (e.g. prchase requisitions, invoicing reconciliation)

Your Responsibilities - Commissioning Safety Engineering

Ensures correct Cost Breakdown Structure coding is utilized for requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and for internal man-hours booking.
invoice processing to include detailed reviews, investigating billing issues and identifying overages ensuring contract terms are adhered too.
Ensures timely release of invoices for submission for payment.
Works in coordination w/ Accounts Payable Shared Services Center.
Acts as Unifier System Administrator and provides adequate trainings and support for users.
Assists in month end activities (accurals, vendor reconciliations)
Oversees the Monthly cost reconciliation between Unifier and SAP
Works in coordination with Procurement and our EPCM partners or other key vendors, as required.
Responds to ad hoc requests for data and data analysis.
Assists Cost Controllers as and when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

Qualification: Commercial Apprenticeship ( Profile E/M) or Swiss Matura Diploma
3-5 years of experience in project accounting for large (> 20 Mio CHF) projects - ideally as part of a cost Controlling team for large scale projects.
Language: Fluent in English and German is essential. Other Language skills advantageous
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Communicative person able to work both independently an in a team-oriented environment.
able to deal with Ambiguity - can conform to shifting priorities, and demands.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with project management software in the area of cost controlling (Unifier or similar), SAP and Excel.
